Withdrawal Policy

Article 1 — Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Dutch consumer law, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving their order, without providing a reason. This right applies to confirmed orders placed through Golden Olives Company.
Article 2 — Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article 16(d) and 16(e) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following circumstances.
Opened or unsealed products: Golden Olives is a sealed food product. Once the bottle has been opened or the seal has been broken, the right of withdrawal is void. This exception exists for reasons of health protection and hygiene.
Damaged products: Products that have been damaged, altered, or tampered with after delivery cannot be returned. Golden Olives Company delivers products of the highest quality, and any return claim must relate to the condition of the product upon arrival.
Perishable goods: As an ultra-premium food product with a defined shelf life, Golden Olives oil falls under the category of goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, further limiting the right of withdrawal.
Article 3 — How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
If you wish to withdraw from your order and the product remains unopened, undamaged, and in its original sealed condition, you must notify Golden Olives Company within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Contact us via the reservation page with your full name, order details, and reason for withdrawal. We will respond within 5 business days with return instructions.
Article 4 — Return Conditions
Returned products must be unopened with the original seal fully intact, undamaged and in original packaging, returned within 14 calendar days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was delivered damaged or incorrect.
Article 5 — Refunds
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, Golden Olives Company will process a full refund within 14 calendar days using the original payment method. If the returned product does not meet the conditions stated in Article 4, Golden Olives Company reserves the right to refuse the return and send the product back to the customer at their expense.
Article 6 — Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Golden Olives Company within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. In such cases, Golden Olives Company will arrange a full replacement or refund at no cost to the customer. This does not affect your statutory rights under Dutch and European consumer law.
Article 7 — Governing Law
This withdrawal policy is governed by Dutch law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
